Create unit references, sizes, rents and availability. Explain deposits, billing periods and optional extras. Prepare the lease agreement template and required onboarding documents before a customer reaches signing.

The booking page mirrors your unit catalogue, so a customer only sees units you can rent. A reservation can include:

• Live availability from your unit list
• A booking form with the questions you need, including ID upload
• An e-signed rental agreement from your own template
• A pro-rata first payment and Direct Debit or card setup
• Automatic creation of the tenant and lease, with optional owner approval before a booking goes live

Choose the website route

Use the built-in self storage website builder, or confirm the supported route from an existing website into the booking flow. Do not assume an arbitrary plugin synchronises availability. Test what happens when a unit becomes unavailable during a booking.

Complete one customer journey

Select a unit, enter details, review the agreement and inspect payment setup. Check any owner-review requirements and incomplete states. A submitted ID document is not automatically verified identity; a submitted payment is not always settled cash.

Check the owner’s records

Confirm the correct tenant, unit, lease, amount and next due date. Review confirmation emails and the customer’s sign-in route. Test an interruption and a failed payment as well as the successful path.

Explain access separately

Provide the real facility arrival instructions. check hardware compatibility before promising automatic PINs or immediate gate entry. Use completed bookings and enquiries to assess the website; do not count every button click as a tenant.
