Self Storage Direct Debit Software

Direct Debit is the cheapest, most reliable way to collect recurring storage rent, until a payment bounces. Unit Manager Pro collects rent by Direct Debit on the due date and, if a debit fails, tries the tenant's saved card so the rent still clears.

How rent collection works

• The tenant sets up a mandate when they sign up. Bank details and a backup card are collected in the same online flow as the rental agreement.
• Rent is collected on the due date. No one has to send a payment link or take a card over the phone.
• A failed debit falls back to the saved card. You and the tenant are both told, and every attempt is logged.
• Money goes to your own payment account. Payments are taken through your facility's Stripe account, not held by us.

Direct Debit in the UK, ACH in the US, SEPA in Europe

The bank debit method follows the currency you bill in: Bacs Direct Debit for pounds, ACH for US dollars and SEPA Direct Debit for euros. Bank debits normally take three to five business days to process. Your payment account needs the relevant bank debit method switched on before tenants can set up a mandate.

What it costs
